Die Oribe Cracked-Slip Chawan wird mit Engoben überzogen und mehrmals bei hoher Temperatur gebrannt. Die Oberfläche ist mit Eisenerz behandelt, darüber kommt eine traditionelle Oribe-Glasur aus der Region Seto/Mino, die Matthias Kaiser selbst herstellt.

The oribe cracked-slip chawan is coated with engobes and fired several times at a high temperature. The surface is treated with iron ore and covered with a traditional Oribe glaze from the Seto/Mino region, which Matthias Kaiser produces himself.
