Die Herstellung jedes Stückes ist ein enormer Aufwand was Tonherstellung und Glasur betrifft.
Die Chawan ist aus Steinzeugton geformt und mit dem Messer facettiert. Danach wird die Schale dreimal gebrannt.
Die Platinglasur enthält echtes Platin.
Das interessante an der Platinglasur ist die Lichtbrechung - die Glasur reagiert auf die Tageszeit genauso wie auf die Farben rundum.
