Die Produkte des österreichischen Keramikers Matthias Josef Kaiser sind über die ganze Welt verteilt, seine Produkte begeehrt.
Die Herstellung jedes Stückes ist ein enormer Aufwand was Tonherstellung und Glasur betrifft.

Für die Schale wurde ein dunkler, eisenhaltiger Steinzeugton verwendet.
Vor dem Rohbrand wurde die Schale mit taiwanesischem Ton engobiert.
Über der Engobe liegt eine Glasur aus Schneckenhäusern, welche im heissen Ofen geschmolzen sind und der Schale nun eine interessante Textur verleihen.

The production of each piece involves an enormous amount of work in terms of clay production and glazing.

A dark, iron-rich stoneware clay was used for the bowl.
Before the bisque firing, the bowl was engobed with Taiwanese clay.
Over the engobe is a glaze made from snail shells, which were melted in the hot kiln and now give the bowl an interesting texture.
