Die Herstellung jedes Stückes ist ein enormer Aufwand was Tonherstellung und Glasur betrifft.

Die Chawan ist aus Steinzeugton geformt und mit dem Messer facettiert. Danach wird die Schale dreimal gebrannt.
Die Platinglasur enthält echtes Platin.

Das interessante an der Platinglasur ist die Lichtbrechung - die Glasur reagiert auf die Tageszeit genauso wie auf die Farben rundum.

The production of each piece is an enormous effort in terms of clay production and glaze.

The chawan is moulded from stoneware clay and faceted with a knife. The bowl is then fired three times.
The platinum glaze contains real platinum.

The interesting thing about the platinum glaze is the refraction of light - the glaze reacts to the time of day as well as to the colours around it.
